I don't know what the Gallifrey stuff is about (obviously) but one of the problems I had was the overly complicated for-no-apparent-reason writing.
Like everything was trying to be tied together, and it didn't need to be? Don't know if that makes sense?

Hermione Norris and Peter Capaldi in the same episode, that should have been a lot better than it was. I won't start fact-bashing or I'll be here all night. Also, I get that it's a family show and so can't go too dark, but the dragon thing laying another egg just sends completely the wrong message in my view. I think I agree about writing women, they all seem to just be there to fill a plot role, rather than to be a character in their own right.

Jubal

MoD: if you get a chance to IPlayer Time Heist, do, it's well worth watching as a one-off. But other than that I very much agree with you.

Mummy on the Orient Express was so much better than the last two, I'm so glad that happened! :D

Agreed, it was a good episode from the plot view and also played about with how the doctor has affected Clara which I like as an angle to take.

Mornin' Sergeant Angle!
Once you realize what a joke everything is, being the Comedian is the only thing that makes sense.

He is Jubal the modder, Jubal the wayfarer, Jubal the admin. And he has come to me now, at the turning of the tide.

Flatline - thoughts?

I really enjoyed it.  :)

Haven't seen the ending yet, but the rest was okay.

Still disappointed with the new season.

Jubal

Generally the scripts haven't been as good as they could've been - I'm hoping next season will be better on account of being Clara-free.

Everyone seemed to have hated her at the beginning, with MS, but I liked her a lot more then than I do now.

Jubal

I think they're changing and building up her character for something - I'm not sure what yet.

They already did that, she did her thing, now she's just a burden. She can go live with that Pink douchebag and carry on.

Jubal

Yeah... I'd very much like it if we could have a companion who was a character rather than a series of plot points, if that makes sense.
