Ok this one was a interesting upload, didn't fight any battles as I had overwhelming force at all times

Well as it stands there was a crusade called for Jerusalem just before I was excommunicated so no chance of a crusade against us, I have a diplomat on route to Rome to suck up to the Pope (not sure how to get un-excommunicated?)

As for making the pope happy, either 'wait' for him to die  the new one will usually give you a chance, or bash some muslims/orthodox or pay him armadillo loads
