@Khan: The soldier asks that you hand over your horse, to replace the mount of one of the men in his patrol which died of exhaustion on the way here.

If people post more, I should be able to post more. Simple as that. :P

I stand there thinking for a moment, Nero and I had been faithful companions for years. I'm not just going to give him up. I jump on the horse and ride away as fast as my horse will go.

The man shouts after you to stop, before signalling to a couple of his companions, who begin to mount horses. People start looking out of their windows again to see the commotion as the cavalrymen swing up into their saddles.

What do you wish to do?

Okay, so Khan is legging it.

@ Nightangel: you saw three chase Khan, and there are nine plus the captain remaining in the central square. Three are outside your house, including the man asking about the donkey, the remaining six plus captain having returned to the middle of the central area to try and restore order and get people to go back inside.

Okay, I'll rephrase; Khan's horse is legging it, and transporting Khan thereby, who is in turn directing the horse to leg it in different directions in order to shake off his pursuers. Happy now?  :P

Hoping that I've lost them but not daring to look back I speed into the woods, my horse isn't getting tired yet but quite close to it. Being used to riding hard and long. Dodging trees and bushes and heading out of town. I plan to go back at night to pack up all my stuff. I really can't stay here now.

OOC: So the horse is mine but can I control it like me?

"The donkey, what donkey, oh that donkey, that's...

Jeffery’s! Yes Jeffery who is out of town at the moment, I don't have to pay his tax for him do I? I could tell where he's headed if that would help."

Big Smile.

Khan: When you're riding it, we assume you're in full control. Obviously, you can't control the horse when you're not riding it.
You ride left and right, trying to shake off your pursuers, but their horses are at least as fast as yours. There aren't many streets IN the town, either, so losing them is proving pretty difficult. What do you wish to do?

DN: Okay, you wander over and inexplicably start sleeping.

NA: *Rolls virtual dice for the first time this game, interpersonal test*
Your lies aren't terribly successful, though the soldier certainly stops to think them over. He asks you who this person is, their occupation, and where they are staying. And why they're not on the tax records for the village. And why you have their donkey.  :P

"Well you see that guy on the horse running away from your comrades, that's Jeffery. He's not on your records you say well he must be some sort of tax dodger of other unscrupulous individual. He just gave me his donkey to look after this morning I guess he must have know this was coming and knew the donkey was to slow to take with him.

Well good luck catching him and all that, have fun."

Bigger smile!
