Losing the letters would be inconvenient, but I don't want to give up tea. Ea is a comfor drink, very imporan.

Magically have power over everything and everyone on this planet for one day, or magically change one single day in history to (maybe) prevent something from happening?

I'd control the planet for a day - I think that's more reliable as a mechanism for change than changing the past. I'm not sure how much I could get done in a day even with total magical control, but I could at least get several world leaders to present signed statements and evidence of every crime they've committed to the world and formally resign, get multiple armies to destroy all their own weaponry and then start a retreat, and get a large number of the ultra-rich to give huge amounts to charity. Oddly I think the destructive stuff is probably the most important - because people can go back on their word, and things like legislation and contracts take a long time, but if you take a fighter jet to pieces you can't really put it back together again the next day.

I'm not sure the gnome would make any difference, so owlbear chancellor wins.

I mean, it would mean I got to look at a gnome called Dewberry rather than Mr. Kickl on the news bulletins, so that would be something.

I'd learn something about the universe. I'm not very interesting.

Hm. I think potoots actually have more range than meepings for full communication so I'd opt for that.

That's a 50:50 for me, but I'll say Czech, I think they have good sweet dishes.

Never have electric light again, or never get warm water out of the tap?

Oh tricky. I think the answer is water, in that I can get it out the kettle, but either is horrible.

I think be an emperor, and have someone who actually knows what's going on and what they're doing advise me...
