There is more time in the average day. Average days now last for about 72 hours. All this freakin' sunlight (cookie for the ref) means that within 72 years, the Earth has melted. Except for Portugal. That exploded.

I wish that the cats would stop asking for food.

I wish for 3 ply tissues to not fall apart as soon as you get them out of the box.

3 ply tissues no longer fall apart ever. Nor do they fold conveniently. One day as you wait at a train-station, you are having trouble folding your tissue down to put into your pocket, heaving violently upon the edges in an attempt to make it smaller. So focussed are you upon this task that you fail to perceive the threat that approaches you from behind. A small dog latches onto the back of your coat, pulling you along on its path of hatred. As you are dragged along by the small canid, you realise that the space the dog is heading into is only about 2 feet high by 1 foot wide. Needless to say, you are smashed up against the concrete wall, as the dog continues on its way. While you lie there in a daze, you watch as the wall begins to topple forward. Hurriedly you staunch the bleeding and begin to rush back in the direction you came from, but the tissue weighs you down and you are crushed beyong recognition.

The shockwaves reverberate through the centre of the Earth. Portugal spontaneously explodes.

Higher maths is now suddenly easier. Consequently they introduce a new (and extremely hard) standard of math, really effing high maths. Suddenly higher maths was more fun when it was hard.

Finally, you die, an unhappy monarch of a tense and nervous world. Your funeral pyre is incredibly grand, and indeed swells up until Portugal finally explodes in a magnificent blaze saluting your ultimately futile achievement.
